Fabian Ward Jr.

Fabian Ward, Jr. went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, December 1, 2014. Prayer Service at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at The Hall, 1211 W. 1st, graveside service will be at 9:00 AM Thursday, December 11, 2014 at South Park Cemetery with Stella Franco officiating, family will be accepting guests directly after the funeral at The Hall. Fabian was born February 16, 1993 in Roswell, NM, to Fabian Ward Sr. and Conya Brown, both of Roswell. Fabian is loved by all that knew him, most his friends and family knew him by “Fatboii”. Fatboii enjoyed fishing, camping, video games, and playing football. He played football as a teenager for Berrendo Middle School in Roswell. Fatboii grew up to love The Dallas Cowboys and spent his Sundays with friends and family watching the Cowboys play. Fabian was very kind hearted and loving, he loved making everyone around him laugh, from a joke to a prank or just right out being silly. You could not be around him sad because it would not last to long, he would find a way to bring a smile on your face. Family was a priority to him, raised with his grandparents but so very close to his mother and father. Fabian made a point to visit his mother, father, GMA, Papa, brother and sisters, tia and tios, and his primos and primas from both sides of his family, on regular basis. There was Never a day he would see someone he knew and not give them a hug or shake their hand, he always made sure to say “I Love You or I love ya’ll” before he left. All his family he loved to pieces and would be there in a heartbeat if you needed him to be, even if it was at five in the morning, and you called or text him, he was there, That is the kind of love he had for you. With that being said, at this moment he would tell you “Don’t cry, I’m in a better place now; I am with my son Brandon. I love you all, please take care of my son, Fabian and keep my name alive”. Fabian was preceded in death by his babies, and son, Brandon Ward, and sister, Mikala Landers. Fabian is survived by his son, Fabian Ward Jr. III, and companion for many years, Yvonne Olivares, both of Roswell, NM; his father, Fabian Ward Sr. and wife, Valarie Ward; sister, Valyssa Ward; brother, Jeremiah Ward of Roswell, NM; his mother, Conya Brown and Fiancé, Ernie De Los Santos; brothers, Siryon and Gemini Brown; Edward, Ethanel, and Israel De Los Santos; and Isaiah Navarrette of Roswell, NM; sisters, Cavlina Brown and Fiance, Jordan Wesson of Roswell, NM; Cynia, Hayle, Mercedes, Nevaeh and Elisa De Los Santos of Roswell, NM; Nikkiala Navarrette and Dionna Gutierrez of Roswell, NM; his maternal grandparents, Connie and Robert Scott of Roswell, NM; paternal grandparents, Raymond Ward Sr. of Roswell, NM and Elizabeth Jaramillo of Roswell, NM. Fabian is also survived by his Tia Candy and Tio Gilbert Navarrette, children, Nicholas Landers and Jonathan Navarrette of Roswell, NM; his Tia Reyna and Tio Junior Garcia, children; Querida, Adelita, Casanova, Mariah and Onyca Garcia of Roswell, NM. Fabian is also survived by his niece Samira Wesson of Roswell, NM; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers, will be Jeremiah Ward, Junior Garcia, Manual Olivas, Thomas Olivas, Lee Brown, James landers and Jordan Wesson Honorary pallbearers will be Fabian Ward Jr. III.
