Harry “Bobby” Coakley, Jr., 62, passed away on Sunday, May 10th of 2026 in Lake Arthur, New Mexico. SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, 10:00 am with Pastor De La Sontos officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On June 21st, 1962, Harry Coakley, Jr. was born to Harry Coakley Sr. & Rosemarie Kobler Coakley in Neu-Ulm, Germany. Harry “Bobby” Coakley, was a father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 10th, 2026, at the age of 62. He was a man known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. He found great joy in the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Whether sitting quietly by the water with a fishing pole in hand or spending time around a campfire with family and friends, he appreciated life’s simple moments and the memories they created. Nature was one of his favorite places to be, and he shared that love with those around him. Harry will be remembered most for the compassion he showed others. He was the kind of person who would lend a hand without hesitation, offer support during difficult times, and make people feel welcomed and cared for. His strength, kindness, and sense of humor touched many lives. He leaves behind cherished family members and friends who will deeply miss his love, guidance, and presence. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the lives he impacted will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish and honor his memory include his children: Eric Johnson of Mesa, Arizona; Adrianna Vega of Roswell, New Mexico; and Hannah Mesquita of Lake Arthur, New Mexico. He is also survived by his stepchildren: Eric Mesquita and Priscilla Mesquita, both of Lake Arthur, New Mexico. Harry’s grandchildren include Olivia Johnson of Mesa, Arizona, Briella Mesquita, and Ezra Mesquita, who were dearly loved by their grandfather. He is further survived by his siblings: Brenda Kobler Wingate Waggoner of Roswell, New Mexico, and Dr. Deborah Coakley, Ed.D., of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Also left to treasure his memory are his nephew and nieces: Chris Waggoner of Roswell, New Mexico; Natasha Randall of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Ashlee Coakley of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Tyler Waggoner of Roswell, New Mexico; Eri Waggoner of Roswell, New Mexico. Harry was preceded in death by his parents Harry Coakley Sr. & Rosemarie Kobler Coakley The family of Harry Coakley, Jr. would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shown love, support, prayers, flowers, cards, and acts of kindness during this difficult time.
