Juan Renteria Gomez, 80, of Dexter, NM, a greatly loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend passed away August 10, 2008, in Roswell. Juan was born May 15, 1928 in Barstow, Texas, to Agustin and Dorotea Gomez. Juan enjoyed meeting and associating with people. He married Magdalena Valenzuela on September 25, 1948, in Ojinaga Chihuahua Mexico. He loved his life as a farmer and family man, which he passed on to his children. He was very well respected working in the fields that he loved. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and dedicated his life to preaching about the bible. This year, Juan and Magdalena celebrated their 60th anniversary.
