Funeral services for Marvin Willis Fox, Jr., 32, of Roswell will be held at 10 am, Friday, August 20, 2010 at Waymaker Church with Pastor Mike Knowlton officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 8 am to 7 pm, Wednesday and Thursday, August 18 and 19, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home. Marvin was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on July 4, 1978 to Marvin Willis Fox, Sr. and Shirley Coleman. He loved cooking and barbequing for his family. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his kids. Marvin enjoyed working with special needs children and rebuilding and putting cars together. Marvin’s favorite team was the New York Giants and he loved to watch U.F.C. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Marvin is survived by his parents, Shirley Kauhn and husband George of Roswell, Marvin Fox ,Sr. and his wife Pat of Port Lavaca, TX; his daughter, Samantha Fox of Roswell; Vanessa Lopez of Roswell and their three daughters, Nevea, Jynesai and Taniece all of Roswell; two sisters, Nesey Shelton and husband Otis of Victoria, TX, and Carrina Sanford of Port Lavaca, TX; one brother Johnelle Woodley of Port Lavaca, TX; two aunts, Lynn Robertson of Roswell and Ester Kennedy of Blue Springs, MO; two uncles, Jerry Coleman of Roswell, Artis Fox of Port Lavaca, TX; cousins Jerry Parker and wife of Odessa, TX, Allison Williams and daughter Desirae, Eddy Parker, Jimmy Williams, Kenny Williams, Shawn, Rich and Jarrod Parker; his special friends, George & Judy Rabb, Rick & Dorothy Boyett and daughter Heather and husband Phillip of Amarillo, TX, Oscar and George Lacy, Orlando Cobos and wife Lisa, Max Dutchover, Jaime Jackson and wife Birdie; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Rosie Bell and Ben Edward Coleman, A.D. and Katherine Fox. Pallbearers will be Jerry Parker, Orlando Cobos, Max Dutchover, Eddie Parker, JoJo Cobos, Jaime Jackson, George Rabb and Oscar Ronquilla. Honorary pallbearers will be George Lacey, Quentin Dorman and Danny Gomez.
