Obituary for Pedro “Dean” Gonzales A Rosary for Pedro “Dean” Gonzales, Jr. 47, of Roswell, NM will be recited 7pm, Thursday, February 23, 2012 in the Anderson Bethany Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held 10am, Friday, February 24, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Juan Gutierrez OFM officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Dean passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at his home surrounded by the love of his family. Dean was born July 10, 1964 in El Paso, TX to Pedro Gonzales Sr. and Yolanda Servantez Gonzales. He married Marta Alicia Avila on September 20, 1985. He was a jack of all trades working on anything and helping other people with their projects. Dean was a loving father, husband, son and PaPa. Dean is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Marta Alicia Gonzales; his only daughter, Elizabeth De La O and her husband Chuy; his first born son, Anthony Gonzales and his wife Yvonne; his baby boy, Adam Gonzales; granddaughters, Arianna and Raenette; grandsons, Estevan, Manuel, Jayden, and Gabriel; brothers, Albert Gonzales and Martin Gonzales; his favorite nephew, Teddy Sosa and his wife Lorena; goddaughter, Rosemary; close cousin, Eddie Servantez and his wife Dorothy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceding Dean in death is grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Servantez ; sisters, Rosemary Sosa and Emma Gonzales; nephew Eddie Sosa Jr.; and close friend who he treated like son, Esteban Gauna. The family would like to Thank Dr. Stiller and Glen for taking care of Dean, the City of Roswell Maintenance Department, Code Enforcement Department and all who work in the Water Department building for their support and kind words. Serving as Pallbearers will be Anthony Gonzales, Adam Gonzales, Chuy De La O, Teddy Sosa, Eddie Servantez, Luis Gauna, Billy Bartlett, and Louis Lozano.
