Virgina Urban

A rosary will be recited for Virginia Urban, 75, of Roswell at 7:00 pm Monday, December 1, 2008 at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated for Virginia at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at St. John’s Catholic Church with Father Juan Montoya O.F.M. officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Mission Arch Care Center surrounded by the love of her family. Visitation will be Sunday 12 pm-8 pm and Monday 8 am-8 pm. Virginia was born July 15, 1933 to Steve Urban and Agapita Uderos in Lake Arthur, NM. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Virginia retired from Holsum Bakery. Virginia loved to go dancing , loved to sing, go camping, fishing and spending time outdoors with her family. Virginia is survived by her four daughters, Linda Montoya and her husband, Roger of Roswell; Lilly Valdez of Las Cruces, Sandra Rivera and her husband, Joe of Roswell; and Aggie Sanchez of Roswell; two sons, Edward (Joe) Sanchez and his wife, Susan of Roswell; and Esmial Sanchez and his wife, JoAnn of Mesa, AZ; her sisters, Delia Arellano and Florence Flores and her husband, Eulalio; her brother, Jimmy Urban and his wife, Madelane of CO and other siblings, her grandchildren, Robert Joe Sanchez and his wife, Danna; Issac Sanchez, Dominic Sanchez and his fiancé Anabel, Nathan Sanchez and his fiancé Sara, Melissa Sanchez and her fiancé Hector, Cody Sanchez and his fiancé Lynette, Johnny Sosa,Veronica Sanchez, Lawrence Sanchez, Efriam Sanchez III, Gilbert Lucero III and his wife, Andrea, Adrian Lucero and his wife, Ashley, Christina Fuentez and her husband, Lino, Adam Garcia and his wife, Carolina, Daniel Garcia, Fernando Garcia, Julian Garcia, Monica Garcia and fiancé Yvonne, Salvador Briseno and his wife, Brenda, Renee Montoya and her husband, Frank, Marietta Valdez, Johnny Valdez and Tito Montoya, forty-six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Efriam Sanchez, Lawrence Sanchez, Adam Garcia, Gilbert Lucero III, Robert Joe Sanchez, Adrian Lucero, Cody Sanchez and Nathan Sanchez. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons and granddaughters. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Agapita Urban, her son, Efriam Sanchez Jr., and her sister, Belia Montoya.
